MAY 1, 2017:
Work started on 6TH STREET.  Crews are now directional boring lines down the east side of 6TH Street.   In a week or two, they will be working to tie the lines together so intersections in these areas may closed, detoured or flagged for one-lane traffic.

Special Note to property owners in these areas - Water Laterals
During Project #1, the City will be installing new water mains along portions of this project as well as replacing old services to the shut off.  This may be a good time for you to consider replacing any old-lines you have to new ¾” or 1” copper water services before they start to fail.  If you are interested, please contact a licensed plumber for a proposal.
Project #2 – City of Bayfield’s Waterfront Turning Point Park Project
PROJECT ON HOLD!   Consideration is being given to re-bid this project later this year.

Project Area:  Intersection of First Street and Wilson Avenue
The primary purpose of this project is to re-develop the Waterfront "Turning Point" element at First Street and Wilson Avenue into a new park area. T(Heavily impacted areas include the Apostle Islands Marina, and the East Dock Park. Both will remain open but traffic may be limited at times).
