Apostle Islands Marina Management ~ Beginning 2024 ~ Two years ago, the B.H.C. learned B.D. Marine listed their business for sale. B.D. Marine holds a lease to manage the City-owned Apostle Islands Marina through 2023. Since then, the B.H.C. considered management models that continue to provide value to A.I.M. customers, revenue for future infrastructure projects, and a return on investments to the City of Bayfield. April 29, 2022 Harbor Letter December 5, 2022: The Harbor Commission made the following decision: based on potential net income as determined by the Marina Study of additional $100,000, which is nearly a 100% increase, it seems prudent to pursue the municipal managed marina model versus other considered options.
