Architectural Review Board (ARB)
The Architectural Review Board was dissolved by an ordinance adopted on January 20, 2026, and building-related permits no longer require ARB's review and approval. This ordinance eliminated the City's former historic district, which encompassed much of the built area in the City regardless of a building's age or individual significance, in favor of a more targeted approach to streamline building-related permit approvals. The ordinance went into effect on January 30, 2026.
This page exists for archival purposes. If you are seeking a 'building permit' application form, that has been replaced with a zoning permit application which can be found on the City's forms page.
The work of historic preservation is now guided by the City's Historic Preservation Commission.
